Our DME (Durable Medical Equipment) library offers free assistance to seniors who need a piece of medical equipment and can't get that item through their insurance or due to financial restraints. Depending on the particular loan closet, the equipment may be loaned out for a set period of time, for as long as the person needs it, or in some cases it may be given away. When the equipment is returned, it must go through a sanitation process and safety check assessment. This is required in order to be made available for the next person. The medical equipment available varies from one loan closet to another.
We also accept donations of medical equipment from individuals and facilities no longer using those items. Those items are sanitized in order to prepare them for distribution for those in need. We are proudly serving the San Fernando Valley area. Any assistance that is able to be donated, will aide our goal in helping others in need and improving their quality of life.
