This Senior Circle of Friends Adult Day Center is a non-profit center that provides services and programs that are aimed at elderly adults who are frail, individuals who can't be left alone while recovering from a stroke, minor injury and those with physical challenges, showing signs of Alzheimer's & Dementia or just in need of some supervision or moderate assistance.
This Senior Circle of Friends ADC provides planned, structure, physical, and mentally stimulating, activities, health screening, nutritional snacks, and hot meals in a social setting. The ADC program is person-centered with Individual Care Plans encouraging family and community involvement.
The one continuing need of the ADC has been an entrance awning to protect the individuals from inclement weather when arriving and departing from the building.
There is a distance of forty feet from the unloading area to the ADC door. This is a considerable distance for a caregiver to escort their loved one in the rain or unshaded heat. The entrance awning will also be beneficial to assist emergency personnel to the correct entrance in the event of an emergency in our Adult Day Center.
