Over the past 70 years, Senior Community Services has adapted and responded to the changing needs of low-income older adults and the families and individuals who care for them. Right now, home is the best place for those most vulnerable to COVID-19. But we need your financial support more than ever to help our community's older adults remain safe and illness-free.
Once again we must reshape our critical services to keep our community's seniors safe during this pandemic. Your support will allows us to provide:
- personal protective equipment for seniors, staff, and volunteers
- groceries and Meals on Wheels deliveries
- virtual counseling for seniors and caregivers
- access to critical, affordable healthcare
- home maintenance and cleaning services to mobility-limited seniors
- technology support for seniors to virtually connect with loved ones
For many, this supports is the difference between thriving and just surviving. Your generosity helps the most vulnerable in our communities during these extraordinary times.
Senior Community Services helps seniors remain in their own homes and connected to their communities as they age. The importance of this mission became very clear once the pandemic began. We will continue to work with cities, community organizations, and donors to provide support resources, while always keeping the safety of those we serve, their families, and our staff in mind.
