Our Older Adults have been giving back to our community through the year and it's time we say our thanks by helping them to continue giving back. The global pandemic shed light on the difficulties and needs of volunteers during times of crisis. SAIVA has continued to reach out and create opportunities for people to get involved and give back. We have given back to our frontline workers, immigrant families, kids in the foster care system, veteran's, being civically engaged and advocating for change, and so much more! This upcoming year we are focusing our efforts in continuing to support isolated diverse older adults in providing resources and programming, impact families that are experiencing food insecurity, and helping foster care children virtually. We believe that intergenerational volunteering is most impactful and meaningful in building our community. We would love to hear how you have been touched by a senior citizen.
