The Service-Enriched Housing project provides housing and supportive services to low-to-moderate income seniors seeking to avert a crisis and/or improve their housing and quality of life through a unique combination of services that change the way we think about housing, health, eradicating poverty and bringing about self-sufficiency, changing the landscape of impoverished communities, one senior at a time.
As the largest generation in American history ages, the need for different types of senior housing grows. Nationally, the number of persons 65 and older was 43.1 million in 2012, according to the Administration on Aging's Profile of Older Americans. That number is projected to grow to 56 million by 2020.
