Little Rock, Arkansas
Presbyterian Village is in a capital campaign to update our 52-year-old facilities, and we have a $400,000 challenge grant available to help us achieve these updates. Earlier this year, the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation of Tulsa, Oklahoma challenged us to raise more than $600,000 in 12 months. By doing so, we will receive their grant award of $400,000 to achieve the following goals on our campus:
1. Improve accessibility for our residents, furthering their independence
2. Expand services to better serve those with dementia and those seeking rehabilitation services
3. Enhance and modernize our campus, including improvements to the building entrances, walkways, and grounds
Earlier this year, we installed a new nurse-call alert system and we have begun the new rehabilitation gym, which was significantly funded through Give65 in July. Now, we are so close to completing the Mabee challenge, having secured more than 90% of the challenge goal through generous donors! Your donation through Give 65 will help us to receive matching funds toward this challenge from Home Instead. Upon completion of these efforts before January 10, we will be able to introduce several more campus renovation projects to benefit our residents.
