Get Me to Monday Emergency Food Pantry Elder Care Services' GIVE65 campaign focuses on our Get Me to Monday Food Pantry. This pantry is an emergency food program for older adults who may find themselves at the end of the month without enough money for food or medications. Many older adults are living on a fixed and limited income which often leads to food insecurities. When there is a call for need, Elder Care Services is there with a "bag of hope" that provides 2-3 days of easy to open and prepare non-perishable food. Additionally, these bags include toiletries and information on local resources. When receiving a Get Me to Monday food bag the older adult an option to schedule a home visit to asses needs and provide assistance to meet such needs. Your gift will make sure we are able to continue to reach those with food insecurities making sure they have the resources needed to support those in need.
