Duet is turning this vision into reality through one of its vitally needed, free-of-charge services that helps homebound adults live safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible by pairing them with compassionate volunteers. These free-of-charge services include rides to grocery stores and medical appointments, paperwork assistance, friendly visiting and phoning, tech assistance, respite, and minor handyman repairs.
In 2018, 38,522 hours of personalized help such as grocery shopping and visits were provided to 621 isolated elders and adults with disabilities, affectionately referred to as "neighbors," by caring Duet volunteers.
