St Louis, Missouri
Deaconess Nurse Ministry provides free healthcare related services for adults, children and low income seniors at community places they already visit regularly. Our Faith Community Nurses are available at places of worship, community centers, food pantries and senior living facilities. In fact, Deaconess Nurse Ministry regularly cares for individuals at 30 different locations across the St. Louis Region.
It is through your tireless efforts that Deaconess Nurse Ministry is able to make a difference in lives of people like Geraldine, an elderly woman, who lives in north St. Louis. Geraldine came to Bridge of Hope Ministry looking for someone to help her with her high blood pressure and other health needs. Through our nurse, Geraldine has been able to get her blood pressure under control and receive the needed social services to be able to stay safely in her home. Geraldine is just one of 2089 people that Deaconess Nurses have made an impact in their overall health and wellness. Today, this gift will help the nurses to care for folks like Geraldine in the greater St. Louis area. Following the footsteps of Deaconess Sisters, Deaconess Nurse Ministry is responding to the needs for healing today with the nurses in the community.
Deaconess Nurse Ministry exists to care for all by providing whole-person healthcare that offers the healing love of God.
