Get Me To Monday is an emergency food program for seniors citizens that may find them at the end of the month without enough money for food or prescriptions. Being on a tight, fixed income can be extremely difficult, especially for our vulnerable population. When there is a call for need, Elder Care Services is there with a "bag of hope" that not only provides 2-3 days of easy to open and prepare non- perishable food, but also with paper goods and resources and information. Not only that, a senior can have the option of a care coordination home visit so that assistance can be provided such as money management, an in-home helper and transportation assistance to places such as local food pantries and the grocery store. The goal is not only treat the symptom, but to hopefully create solutions for long term success.
Dreamweaver is seeking funding to assist our organization in granting over 50 dreams for deserving seniors this year. Specifically, the funds will be used to cover all costs associated with each dream; ensuring that the Dreamers are receiving an opportunity that is not only exciting, but more importantly, provides family enrichment and social and emotional support at the end of their life.
Dreamweaver is thrilled to be partnering with Vetter Senior Living to make your donation go even further! For every dollar donated up to $5,000, VSL will match- allowing us to make even more dreams come true!
Your donation will provide nutritious grocery staples to older adults from around the world. ISC distributes a monthly food pantry to clients, with culturally-appropriate items and fresh produce when available.
