Little Rock, Arkansas
The Village offers a robust Life Enrichment program, which provides Residents with opportunities for fellowship, creativity, wellness, memory care, technology, and spirituality, each and every day.
During the COVID-19 pandemic this program was adapted to keep residents active and healthy, by offering more individualized and small activities tailored to very specific needs. These included Facetime and Skype, telemedicine visits, personal activities delivered to Resident rooms, hallway activities and courtyard activities.
Funds raised will allow us to grow these areas by adding additional equipment, activity supplies and decorations, along with more I-Pads and wireless "hot spots" to facilitate virtual activities such as telemedicine visits and family visits.
Presbyterian Village is owned and operated by a nonprofit organization, Presbyterian Village, Inc., which was founded in 1965 by local Presbyterian churches in the greater Little Rock metropolitan area. We are proud to have provided 54 years of housing and services to the community. We provide services to any adults aged 55 and older, and we are pleased to boast an ecumenical, loving community that focuses on the care of each individual as full, unique persons.
Our services include: housing for independent living seniors, residential care services for seniors that need more daily assistance, skilled-nursing care, and rehabilitation services (Medicare funded).
"Your Village is a happy place, so I want to congratulate you on the good work you are doing."
"From the moment we walked in the door, they bent over backwards for us. Everyday since then, they have been so accommodating."
"I want to express my complete satisfaction to the staff and a sincere thank you for being so caring to her during her residency. She is the happiest I have seen her in a long time. As most of us expect, a transition from living independently at home to an independent living facility is usually not easy, and it wasn't at first for her. Soon after her arrival she was able to get her sewing machine set up and offered to do sewing for residents and staff. Please keep helping her stay busy, as the staff know, she is the happiest when she is busy."
"Our mother is able to live independently at Presbyterian Village because of the exceptionally caring staff. She has a wonderful quality of life at the Village and it gives her family peace of mind! "
Our mission is to provide comprehensive continuing care for older adults that promotes health, comfort, security, and spiritual well being in a living environment that fosters personal dignity and independence.
