The Give65 Incentive Fund allows Home Instead Foundation to provide matching grants and financial rewards to nonprofit organizations participating in the Give65 program. Your donation to the Give65 Incentive Fund inspires greater charitable giving in support of aging adults most in need of our help. Our Give65 partnering nonprofit organizations are providing much needed support through meaningful programs, such as transportation, meals and nutrition, low-income housing, Alzheimer's and dementia care, hospice and charitable care and so much more. Your donation is an investment that creates hope for older adults! A study by the Foundation Center reports less than two percent of funding from the nation's largest grant makers is specifically focused on aging adults - even though this population will double in just 15 years. Furthermore, the U.S. Census Bureau reports that one in seven older adults is living in poverty based on the supplemental poverty measure. As 10,000 people are turning age 65 every day in the U.S., there is a tremendous need to increase the capacity of nonprofit programs and services that help aging adults age with dignity and independence. In 2016, the Home Instead Foundation established GIVE65 to inspire greater charitable giving in support of nonprofit organizations that serve low-income, vulnerable older adults. Your gift helps bring hope and optimism to our nation's most vulnerable.
Lori and Paul Hogan founded Home Instead® in 1994. Their experience caring for Paul's grandmother was the inspiration that launched an international company of independently owned and operated franchises to provide in-home care for aging adults. Paul and Lori established the Home Instead Foundation in 2003 as a way to help care for older adults who were in need of social service programs that help them age with independence and dignity and enhance their quality of life, as well as help those who care for them. This mission is made possible, in part, thanks to Paul and Lori and the generous sponsors and donations from the general public.
The mission of the Home Instead Foundation is to enhance the lives of aging adults and those who care for them.
