THE SENIOR SPOT - Program for adults age 55 and older with moderate limitations and is held Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 4 p.m. The activities change daily and includes a small snack. Monday afternoons include gentle yoga and music on Wednesday afternoons. Caregivers are invited to also attend.
ACTIVITY BUDDIES - Other activities may be provided through Activity Buddies, a one-on-one program utilizing screened community volunteers, that also provides caregiver respite.
CAREGIVER ASSISTANCE FUND - A special fund that may pay for up to 30 hours of in-home, licensed caregiving services. Recipients must be residents of Eagle County, age 55 or older, and meet the requirements of the licensed caregiving agency.
CAREGIVER EDUCATION AND SUPPORT - High Country Caregivers on Facebook is an interactive place to share caregiver support, ideas and resources.
